Plan Your Setup
Come ready to operate your space. Motion on Mead does not provide water or electricity.
Bring what your operation needs for the full event day.
Bring a generator or independent power source if required.
Food Vendor Compliance
Selling or serving food at Motion on Mead may require additional licensing, permits, inspections, or food-safety approvals through Racine County Public Health. Each food vendor is responsible for reviewing the official county requirements and completing anything required for their individual operation.
Important Distinction
Motion on Mead does not issue food licenses or health permits. Approval to participate in the event does not replace any license, permit, inspection, or approval required by Racine County Public Health.

Review all applicable Racine County Public Health documents
Determine which licenses, permits, inspections, or approvals apply to your setup
Complete required applications before applicable deadlines
Have someone view the food safety class and name them on the application
Plan your handwashing water source and how wastewater will be disposed of
Prepare no food at home. The county prohibits it.
Keep required documentation available for the event
Make sure your food operation meets applicable public health requirements
