A downtown favorite is taking the kitchen on the road.
Kings Kitchen & Cocktails is not a brand-new business. Led by Dontay White, the restaurant has spent about three years serving Racine with homestyle soul food, seafood, sandwiches, wings, desserts, and generously built comfort-food plates. Guests looking for takeout can use the 515 7th Street location, while the 515 6th Street location is the place to dine in and enjoy karaoke. Now King’s is expanding again with a mobile second location: a new food truck built to move around the city and feed people wherever it parks. The truck makes its public debut Friday, September 18, beginning at 3 PM outside Snack’n on High St. at 637 High Street, then joins Motion on Mead on Sunday, September 20.
